Hollywood Director Bryan Singer Settles One Of His Sexual Assault Cases
According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, Bryan Singer, the Hollywood filmmaker, recently settled a court case with one of his accusers, Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, who accused Bryan of molesting him at a yacht party in 2003.
The X-Men and Bohemian Rhapsody director was kicked off the set of the latter movie following the allegations. A lawyer for the embattled director confirmed yesterday, Wednesday, that the matter has since been resolved and both parties are moving on.
The attorney for the X-Men creator also claims they never knew each other and the incident never took place. In 2014, Sanchez-Guzman filed for bankruptcy and this fact later became connected to the allegations regarding Mr. Singer.
Lawyers for Bryan Singer say Guzman never cited his bankruptcy case as being related to the allegations against Singer, as well as the related court case. At a later date, Sanchez-Guzman cited Singer in the very same bankruptcy case.

In a statement obtained by multiple outlets, Singer and his lawyer said they chose to settle the financial dispute because continuing court cases would cost more money than to simply settle and move on. Andrew Brettler, a lawyer who works for Lavely and Singer, claims he and his client are looking forward to moving on from the dispute.
Reportedly, Singer and his attorney agreed to pay the man’s estate, $150,000, that way Sanchez-Guzman can pay off creditors as well as other administrative costs. Sanchez-Guzman isn’t the only person to make claims against Mr. Bryan Singer, as there have been other accusations made by men who were young boys at the time.
Sanchez-Guzman said he first met Singer while partying on a yacht, and the director lured him to a secluded area on the boat and tried to force him into oral sex. Bryan then forced himself on the young man and performed both oral and anal sex.

It was back in 2017 when Sanchez-Guzman first accused Singer publicly of assault, which Singer denied and pointed out Sanchez-Guzman’s bad financial situation, including his bankruptcy case.
