Newcastle given Harry Maguire ultimatum by Manchester United despite different Aston Villa stance
Newcastle have been told that they must buy Harry Maguire if they want to sign him from Manchester United.
According to The Sun, the Magpies are keen to sign the defender on a loan deal, however they've been told that any deal must be permanent.
Maguire has been told that is able to leave Old Trafford if the deal is right, however the club are reluctant to let him join a divisional rival with no financial benefit.
However if Newcastle came in with a cash offer then a move may be considered.
Aston Villa are also keen on a move and could be more likely to have a loan deal accepted, while Tottenham are also interested.
Leicester had been keen on a move for their former player, however relegation from the Premier League means that's now a non-starter.
